Cadisc™-L

The Cadisc™-L is a polyurethane-polycarbonate graduated modulus replacement spinal disc implant designed to mimic the bio-mechanical properties of the natural lumbar disc and restore intervertebral height and lumbar lordosis (curvature). Cadisc™-L has, like the natural disc, a compliance designed to reduce the degeneration of adjacent discs observed when diseased discs are surgically replaced with rigid, non-compliant structures. Cadisc™-L has no articulating surfaces, thus minimising the potential for wear debris.
